Dragon Cave

Started trying to make a cave as another set for the dragons. Only the beginning and doesn't really look that great atm but here's what I did so far.

Modelled a basic treasure chest. I used shape keys to allow the chest to open. This way each chest can easily be set at a different level of openess as shown in the screenshot.

Having some large problems with the normals for this object for some reason as can sort of be seen by some of the black particularly on the silver bits of the chests. Not too sure how to deal with this.

Could probably make the chest more detailed and fancy but as it is it can be duplicated easily without affecting render times much etc..

  2. Thanks, yeah definitely. Not sure the best way to make treasure though. Probably just make some lumpy objects and then texture them I reckon. Also wanna fix the normals first.
